WHAT PRODUCT SHOULD I GET?
This depends on the effect you aim to achieve or a condition you are trying to relieve.Tinctures are taken sublingually, which means you hold the oil under your tongue for at least a minute. The effects are usually felt 15-30 minutes after taking, and last about 4-6 hours.
The effects of inhaling the Cannabinoids and Terpenes in form of vapor can be felt almost instantaneously and last 30-60 minutes. Therefore, if you are looking for a longer lasting, “controlled release” effect than you would want to use the tinctures. Whereas, if you would like more immediate effects, you would want to use a vape.
For more targeted results, we urge you to review our research reports to better understand what effects of specific Terpenes & Cannabinoids may have get the oils the ones that match you most. Feel free to contact us and we will refer you to condition-based research and consumer feedback which may be of guidance to you.
HOW DO I KNOW WHAT DOSING IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Every EndoCannabinoid System is different for each individual and the condition of its receptors at any given time is unknown. The best practice is always to start with smallest recommended amounts that we indicate on our product packaging.
WHAT IS THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM?
All mammals, including humans, feature something called an Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS, comprised of special microscopic receptors that are spread throughout the body in the central nervous system and immune system, plays a critical role in regulation of the body’s defenses and maintenance of a healthy equilibrium.
A healthy body naturally produces Endocannabinoids. These molecules are designed to precisely fit into the specialized receptors of the ECS in a binding mechanism that provides a number of health benefits, including decreasing inflammation and pain.
Unfortunately, a large percentage of modern humans suffer from Clinical Endocannabinoid Deficiency Syndrome (CEDS), which results from insufficient Endocannabinoid production. Leading medical researchers believe that CEDS is the root cause of a variety of diseases, including fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, Crohn’s, irritable bowel syndrome, and even Alzheimer’s.
It is theorized that CEDS is caused by a nuanced combination of genetics and environment, with contributing factors such as lack of exercise, poor diet, pollution, and stress. Preliminary clinical research has shown that regardless of the cause, supplementation with phytocannabinoids such as CBD may provide relief for a multitude of diseases and conditions.
Our aim is to better understand the EndoCannabinoid deficiencies and relieve them with a variety of plant derived cannabinoids and terpenes.
WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?
There are three types of Cannabinoids:
- EndoCannabinoids: Naturally produced by our body for its self-regulation.
- PhytoCannabinoids: Plant-derived compounds, some of which mimic EndoCannabinoids, while others interact with the EndoCannabinoid System in their own unique ways.
- Synthetic Cannabinoids: Scientifically formulated research chemicals, designed to be exponentially more potent than Endo & Phyto Cannabinoids. Thus far synthetic cannabinoids have been known for their often addictive, adverse side-effects (K2/Spice).
WHAT ARE TERPENES?
Terpenes are molecules found in the plant kingdom that deliver medical efficacy similar to cannabinoids, but unlike cannabinoids they’re not produced by the human body. Up to 200 varieties of terpenes may appear in a single strain of hemp, while over 20,000 different terpenes are present throughout the plant kingdom.
Preliminary research indicates that terpenes work in synergy with cannabinoids as an ensemble, amplifying the therapeutic effects of the cannabinoids. Products that contain a wide spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes have been found to provide increased medical efficacy for people with a variety of health conditions.
Although indigenous people from around our planet have used Terpene-based remedies throughout history of mankind, scientists began to study the wide range of medical benefits at the start of 20th century, with the discovery of terpene interactions with the EndoCannabinoid System, taking place in late 1990.Of all known organisms, Cannabis seems to have by far the widest range of Terpene variations.
HOW CAN I UNDERSTAND THE LAB REPORTS?
To find the right set of Keys for your EndoCannabinoid System, you should always stay conscious of the Cannabinoid & Terpene content.
We perform third party lab-testing on all our products for Cannabinoids, Terpene, Pestisides, Heavy Metals, Mold, Microbes & Other Microorganisms, to make sure there are no unwanted/harmful elements present. Over 80% of “Medical Cannabis” concentrates (in California) were found to have residual solvent and/or pesticide contaminants.
WILL THESE PRODUCTS MAKE ME FEEL “HIGH”?
Simply put, no.
All our tincture products are formulated from Hemp and are non-psychoactive. Hemp is a type of cannabis that contains less than 0.3% TetraHydroCannabinol(THC). THC is what is responsible for the “high” feeling that has been traditionally associated with cannabis. Our vape oils contain 0.03% THC whilst our tinctures are whole plant extracts featuring the full spectrum of phytocannabinoids with under 0.3% of THC. Please refer to our lab results for each product for exact values (see lab reports).
WILL THESE PRODUCTS MAKE ME FAIL A DRUG-TEST?
Our products are formulated from Hemp which contains less than 0.3% THC. Our vape products contain 0.03% THC. Due to drug tests varying in what they test for and their respective limits we cannot legally advise whether or not our products will cause the pass or failure of a drug test. We recommended you do your research if this is a concern before taking any CBD products.
